CURRENTLY:  I live in Fairview, about 15 miles west of Nashville (that's in Tennessee). My job as a manufacturing engineer for an automotive parts plant involves planning and installing robotized production lines and troubleshooting existing lines and products for most major auto companies. If you have a Toyota or Nissan or drive a Mustang (don't do it!) or Suburban, you probably have some parts off of one of my assembly lines in your vehicle. Now isn't that exciting? After college, I spent eighteen months at Xerox in San Antonio, but I've been at auto parts plants in Tennessee since 1989. My jobs have taken me to Japan and Mexico, but usually involve nothing more exotic than an occasional Detroit visit.

MAJOR EVENTS:  In 2001, I started my master's degree at Vanderbilt. These are easily the best instructors I've ever had, and I've met several interesting, intellectually challenging classmates. It's a lot of work, but I'm finally enjoying my college experience.

BEST MEMORY:  Well, it was when I....... Wait, that wasn't me!
