![]() ridin' the storm out. (photo by unknown) CURRENTLY: Chris, my husband, my two daughters, (Charlotte,13 and Olivia, 5) and I live in Sycamore, Illinois, where we've been since 1995. Chris works for American Flyers, a flight training school, and I have been working as a nurse at Kishwaukee Hospital in Dekalb, where I have recently transferred to the ICU unit. Charlotte is in 8th grade, and is excited already about high school. She gets the biggest kick out of the clothes and styles that we all used to wear. To her, the eighties were so long ago, so retro! Olivia is in preschool and is undertaking the challenge of learning her letters and numbers. She is the little princess and is always dressed up like some Disney character or a ballet dancer. Chris still plays the drums when he gets a chance, which isn't very often. Chris also is a great cook, and he brews beer when the mood strikes him. Our kitchen smells like a brewery for a few days afterwards! I see Kristine frequently, and we are good friends. She and Steve Dreesen have 3 boys and live in Peoria. She is also a nurse.
MAJOR EVENTS: Some highlights of life so far have been living in New
Orleans for 4 years. That was a great experience- just not a great place to raise kids! I
went to nursing school there, and learned so much. We moved to Colorado and lived outside
of Denver for almost 2 years, which was also a great experience. I love to ski, so I was
in heaven out there. Chris learned to ski, as well as Charlotte. It's beautiful country,
and I miss it still! We have been to the North Carolina Outer Banks many times on
vacation, and I am turning my kids into beach bums, just like I always was. Chris loves to
surf fish, so he has almost as fun as we do! Vacations are a priority, so we still have
early marriage furniture, but we have been a lot of places. A few highlights of my life so
far have been having two great kids, running a marathon, and going to Paris with my mom
and sister last February. There are many others, but those are the big ones to me.
BEST MEMORY: Oh boy, do I have to? Let's just say, collectively, Senior year was the very best memory. It was a great time.
